At Parkview we pride ourselves on developing our young people’s feelings of security.

The progress that they make enables them to look outwards and to be sensitive to the needs of others. Our young people become involved in causes helping other children to make progress.

The recent traumatic events in the world are no exception and all of our homes have been exploring the devastation in the news. We have asked our young people to produce ideas to help and all of our young people were given a budget to support the shoe box appeal.

Our young people went with staff to gather a wide variety of items to make up shoe boxes which they have taken to drop-off points for supplies to be taken to those in desperate need in the Ukraine.

Well done to all of our young people for thinking of others and putting bits together to support those in the Ukraine.
